At any given time I am playing about 5 games but lets go with the one I’ve clocked the most time in of late.

I wasn’t going to buy it, at least not for a while, but that lasted less than week and then I beat it in less than I week. I like random dungeon cralwery games and my love for them probably comes from Diablo too, also probably why I like roguelikes. Its a great game and I’m going to try my hand at Nightmare for the first time ever.
Day 14 - Current Gaming Wallpaper
The skull thats on the player pin in The World Ends With You, simple, but pretty.
Okay, so I stopped doing this for a while… or rather a really long time but anyways back to it for now :)

Tales of Symphonia
I’m not sure what it is about this game, maybe it because before the Tales series I had only played turn based RPGs when I really love the more hack and slash of these. Maybe its because for the most part I find the cast rather entertaining in the main game, banter after fights and all the skits. Maybe its cause it was the only game I had for the only system I owned for a long time, either way I have played this game a lot.
It doesn’t rate super high on games with replay value, I mean there is stuff, like the different character ending sort of thing, but that only comes into play for the last couple hours of the game. There is additional bosses, cause chances are you’re not going to have beat the sword dancer first time through (I don’t think I managed until my 3rd or 4th play through) as well as getting the best weapons. However it is enough to keep me coming back. I even thing I want to play it again some time in the future.

Final Fantasy 6
Okay maybe not everyone, but anyone with even a mild interest in rpgs I really believe this is one of the greatest games every made and probably my favourite in the series (yes, before 7 even). I love it.

The Nintendo DS
I have like 40 DS games and the reason why is probably cause there are so many awesome ones out there. Don’t get me wrong, some of the ones I own are definitely crap but but there is a lot of really cool stuff in there too. The World Ends with You, Monster Tale, Devil Survivor, Rune Factory, all of them are awesome.
I also have a thing for hand helds, they are my favourite.
I love the soundtracks to these games, even more so in their orchestrated form.

The World Ends With You
This game is probably one of my favourite, of like all time. I like the gameplay a lot (one of many things about the game that I adore) mostly because it takes a different take on things. The controlling both top and bottom screen in game is neat and challenging, (though they are kind enough to give you the option of pretty much ignoring the top screen). Figuring out which pins work the best for you and in combo with one another, also really fun.
I had a certain amount of amusement in the clothing too, mostly just imagining the character wearing the ridiculous things I gave them. Good Times…
Day 9 - Saddest Scene
The Normal (Cannon) ending of Fatal Frame (spoilers)
As much as I didn’t like gimpy there really is something about about the normal ending of the game. I mentioned before that I like this ending and it goes beyond the fact that my least favourite character dies. There is emotion in it. You spend the entire game trying to save or protect your sister, and with this ending you fail, worse than that, your the one who kills her. Maybe its for a greater cause or purpose but that doesn’t matter to Mio, because despite her best efforts, Mayu is gone.

The Halo series (by Martin O’Donnell (for the most part I believe))
I like a lot of gaming music but as a whole I believe the Halo series has the best stuff in it. There are some song that I could listen to on repeat for days on end without getting sick, some that can stir real emotion in me, the chief of which is the track “Halo”. There are many others “On a Pale Horse” from the first game and “Finale” off the ODST sound track are some of my favourites.
They even have amazing music in their advertising, though these songs aren’t by Martin O’Donnell who does the majority (if not all) of the games’ music. The song that was used in the short used to promote Halo Reach was incredible and I’m still on a quest to find a version of it.
